  • Just because essential oils are natural plant products doesn’t mean their use is risk-free, especially for youngsters. In fact, when you consider the potency of essential oils combined with the small, delicate, and sensitive nature of babies’ and childrens’ body systems, it makes sense to use an abundance of caution!

    This course covers comprehensive safety measures for essential oil use on babies and children, including which oils should be avoided, which are safe, and includes guidelines and recipes for maximum benefit.

  • No! Anyone interested in learning about holistic healing topics can enroll in any course we offer. We have titled some of our courses “for massage therapists” to indicate their appropriateness and relevance to the work massage therapists perform. Since we have a massage therapy background, we understand and take into consideration topics that LMTs may encounter, but everyone is welcome to enroll!

  • You will have access to the course for one year from the date of purchase.

  • While none of our courses have required prerequisites, we will indicate if a course has a recommended prerequisite.

    We do recommend taking one of our intro or safety related courses (such as Essential Application) early on in your aromatherapy studies, as many of our individual courses assume that you have knowledge or background in essential oil safety. Our safety courses are appropriate for beginners as well as those who have used essential oils for years.

    Massage therapists may wish to take Aromatherapy for Massage Therapists prior to other courses, as its curriculum contains a comprehensive, in-depth study of safety, contraindications, precautions, and side-effects.

    Essential oils are not homeopathic - although natural, they are concentrated chemical products that warrant a solid understanding of safety topics prior to use in a therapeutic setting.
