Become an informed oil consumer

The best kind of consumer is a well informed one!

Take back your purchasing power so you can buy oils with confidence

We don’t always realize it, but we are bombarded with thousands of marketing messages every day - often times, we don’t even recognize them as marketing.

Brands use marketing terms and psychological tactics to keep us buying their products. Which is great if the quality meets our expectations, but in the essential oil industry, that’s not always the case - often unbeknownst to us!

The essential oil industry is booming - growing year over year as people come to learn about and enjoy nature’s bounty. But nature offers finite resources - it can only give us so much in a year. So how is it that the supply can keep up with our insatiable and growing demand?

Enter adulteration. Adulteration is the action of making something poorer in quality by the addition of another substance.

Adulteration is common practice in the essential oil industry! France often exports 3-4 times the amount of Lavender it produces, but they’re not alone - China often exports 10 times the amount of Tea Tree it produces annually!

Those numbers don’t add up - and yet nearly every bottle of essential oil we see is labeled “100% pure” essential oil. How is this possible?

Not only that, but using low quality (adulterated) essential oils for therapeutic purposes can be harmful!

This course is designed to help you navigate these marketing pitfalls and learn how to choose the highest quality oils - so you can practice therapeutic use of essential oils with confidence!
